Sub-processors

Last updated 17 July 2026.

Actually Useful Extensions uses the third parties below to run Time Off. We keep this list deliberately short: every additional sub-processor is somewhere else your data could go, so we only add one when the product genuinely needs it.

Current sub-processors

Sub-processorWhat it doesData it can accessLocation
Railway
Railway Corp.
Application hosting and the PostgreSQL database All stored Customer Data, encrypted at rest United States (US West)
Slack Technologies
Salesforce, Inc.
The platform Time Off runs on — messages, modals and commands are delivered through it Data your workspace already holds; we send leave notifications back through Slack Per your own Slack agreement

What we don't use

To be explicit, because the absences matter as much as the list: no analytics or tracking providers, no advertising networks, no email marketing platform, no customer-data platform, no AI or machine-learning provider, and no offshore support contractors. Your leave data is never sent to any of these, because we don't use any of them.

Changes to this list

If we add or replace a sub-processor, we will update this page and notify workspace admins in Slack before the change takes effect, so you have time to object or uninstall. Material changes are also reflected in the Privacy Policy.
